Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. She went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC21 was her last bout with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using the ground and pound strategy and earned the TKO second-round victory. She continued her dominance and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger in the first round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as her Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds.
